NEW TO FITNESS? THIS PROGRAM IS PERFECT TO BUILD THE BODY OF YOUR DREAMS

For those staring out, the 5X5 Workout is simple and versatile!

The program is easy to follow, and everyone can do it, even at home. It can be used for various reasons — increasing strength and size.

It is an all-around exercise for both long-time and new fitness enthusiasts.

The low number of repetitions per set means you can load on the weight and use higher resistance levels — compared to traditional exercises with repetition and set scheme exceeding eight to 12 repetitions per exercise.

The 5×5 workout program Involves doing five sets of five repetitions three days in a week — Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

The program is dedicated to focusing and targeting specific muscle groups in a compound fashion.

For Monday, the routine involves squats, power cleans, and bench presses.

Meanwhile, Wednesday follows the first two steps but adds an incline bench press for an increased challenge.

To top it all off, Friday finishes with an overhead press, following a squat and power clean routine.

If you’ve noticed, every different day targets a different intensity.

The change in routine pushes one to increase levels of resistance to near max weight.

The two other lifts are meant to produce less resistance.

As a result, each exercise involves a heavy, medium, and light day, allowing for less stress on joints and muscle recovery.

If you’re looking for a whole-body workout that requires less time, is first-timer-friendly, and is easy to do, then trying out the 5×5 workout might work for you!
