MOVE YOUR BODY LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDED ON IT! 🏃🏿
In the age of WFM or having a flex schedule of home/office, one can literally spend hours on hours sitting in on place without realizing it. We can get so ingrained in our work, we forget our bodies feel the grunt of it — our back bothers us to our shoulders rounding on us.
For those working in and on their businesses/careers, stepping outside to walk tor 15 minutes can be a daunting task to completely only because it’s not viewed as essential. However, it actually is.
Regular physical activity can help manage your appetitive and weight in a number of ways but for the sake of time, I’ll go over some easy takeaways to get your body moving!
Moving your body increases the number of calories you use, making it less likely you’ll overeat. Studies show that people with excess weight exercise regularly, their calories intake tends to go up, but usually not enough to compensate for the calories they burn (although this varies by individual).
We have to keep in mind our distant ancestors had a word for exercise: LIFE. Movements has always been a key part of our daily activities and our bodies require it to function properly. It’s also an mental escape from our busy lives to give our minds some clarity.
