3 Amazing Fat Loss Tips I’ve Learned From Helping Women Lose Weight
Here are some quick tips you can utilize to help you reach your health and fitness goals. With that that being said, there are the three things I’ve learned throughout my experience helping women lose fat.
1. Understand Your Build
Physiologically, I’ve noticed women are able to keep more muscle (and strength) throughout fat loss phases compared to men.
Why might this be?
Women naturally have higher estrogen levels. Estrogen has a muscle protective effect that allows them to keep more muscle throughout an energy deficit. Combine that with naturally having higher body fat levels and I’ve noticed I’ve been able to diet women “harder” compared to men without noticeable drops in muscle or strength.
2. Diets Don’t Have to be Extreme
Dieting harder doesn’t mean dieting longer. You can implement diet breaks and two high carbohydrate days each week to help keep your metabolism and leptin levels from dropping too quickly.
